  Neeraj Chopra , a young javelin thrower from India, has emerged as one of the most promising athletes the country has produced in recent years. Born on December 24, 1997, in Panipat, Haryana, Neeraj has overcome numerous obstacles to reach the pinnacle of his sport and is now considered a national hero.
